Getting Started with SitePulse

Real-time uptime monitoring for everyone

INTRODUCTION

Why monitor with SitePulse?

SitePulse checks your domains, APIs, and web services every 60 seconds from 12 global nodes in Chicago, Frankfurt, Tokyo, and São Paulo.

When a server drops or a certificate nears expiration, our engine triggers instant alerts via email, Slack, or PagerDuty. Teams at Meridian Logistics and Oakridge Health reduced outages by 74% after switching to our continuous monitoring dashboard. You’ll have full visibility within minutes of signing up.

STEPS

Add your first monitor in three steps

1. Create your workspace

Register at app.sitepulse.io using your work email or GitHub account. Select the Starter tier to get 5 active monitors, 30-day incident history, and two team seats at no cost.

2. Add your first monitor

Click the plus icon on the dashboard, paste your target URL (e.g., https://api.yourdomain.com/health), and choose HTTP 2xx as the success condition. Set the check interval to 60 seconds.

3. Configure alert routing

Navigate to Settings → Notifications. Connect your Slack channel or input your on-call email. Enable the “Consecutive Failures” rule so you only get paged after two missed checks.
